I thought the same thing! Bobby D. sounded a bit like he was gargling mouthwash. and YEAH, we SAW that mouthwash gargler LIVE!
ReplyDeleteMe and Davis were totally crazy about Mumford & Sons' performance! We'd never heard them before. Davis was swooning.
I kept waiting for him to reveal a hole in his throat and say "I had my first cigarette when I was 13 years old...Don't smoke." Like those anti-tobacco commercials. Woowee.
ReplyDeleteI remember when we saw him in concert, and I thought then "wow, he is really getting old." And then look at/hear him now! It seems like he's aged ten times as fast since we last saw him.
Mumford & Sons did a great job (and The Avett Brothers). Mumford and Sons made my Top Albums list for 2010.
