March Madness!

March Madness is upon us, and you know what that means? If you guessed that my mom gets really worked up, I will accept that answer. Upon learning yesterday that Utah State lost and BYU advanced (in their respective games), my reaction was "ooooooh shooooot" -- because I knew my mom would be pissed. And I wasn't certain what my mom would be more pissed about -- that USU lost, or that BYU advanced. I said to Eagan that I think my mom's hatred for BYU is stronger than her love (maybe "loyalty" is a better word) for USU. To which Eagan replied, "True. The dark side is strong with this one..." (Don't you just love Eagan?!).

Anyway, my original answer was this: With March Madness comes the brackets. Non-basketball related brackets. Eagan and I were saying that it seems as if there are more pop culture brackets this year. We keep stumbling upon a bunch of different ones. There's brackets for books, art, beards, food, etc. Eagan said, "Are more people doing these this year or did I just not notice them previously?" I said, "I guess people have more time on their hands this year..." Eagan finished, "...because they all got laid off." That inspired me to create the Too Much Time bracket. I say "Too Much Time" instead of "Unemployment" because there are plenty of employed people that have Too Much Time on their hands, as well. A lot of the following activities are not limited only to the unemployed.

Yes, I meant to draw the brackets slightly crooked.....

Although I'm poking fun at Too Much Time, believe me, the irony is not lost on me. I've played on several of these "teams".
